The study guide is compiled in accordance with the work program of the discipline "Interventional cardiology". It presents modern interventional methods for the treatment of acute coronary syndrome, rhythm and conduction disorders of the heart, heart failure. Methods of pacing, implantation of cardioverter-defibrillators and catheter radiofrequency destruction of arrhythmogenic zones are described in detail, indications, assessment of clinical effectiveness, diagnosis of complications and their prevention are presented.
