This book is an anthology of the original articles, essays and extracts from the books of the most influential philosophers of the XX century. It’s compiled according to the philosophy program of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation and is intended for students studying in English at the St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University. The materials included in this book can be used as an additional source for the study of the subject by students of other, primarily medical universities, as well as all those interested in philosophy.
