This training manual is intended to assist students in mastering the technique of direct examination of the patient. The acquisition of the necessary practical skills prepares the future doctor of any clinical specialty for the most important element of his professional activity - the diagnostic process. The training manual includes questions of questioning, general, local and private examination, palpation, percussion and auscultation. The material contained in the manual is aimed at acquiring a student's general professional competencies: ability and willingness to implement ethical and deontological principles in professional activities (GPC-4) and professional competencies - readiness for collection and analysis of patient complaints, his medical anamnesis, examination results, laboratory, instrumental, pathological and other studies in order to recognize the condition or establishment of the presence or absence of the disease (PC-5); the ability to determine the patient's main pathological conditions, symptoms, disease syndromes, nosological forms in accordance with the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, 10th Revision (PC-6). The manual is prepared taking into account the requirements of the standard FSES HE in the field of training 31.05.01 “General Medicine”.
