The manual is compiled by teachers of the Histology Department of Stavropol State Medical University. It presents information about the basic structures of humatissues included in the section of General Histology, the concept of tissues, classification of tissues, and individual structures that characterize a particular tissue. It will help to form a further understanding of the structures of private histology. Much attention is paid to the basic structural and functional units that determine the histo-functional characteristics of the tissue. Histogenesis of tissue structures is considered in detail.
