The textbook is intended for foreign students studying the discipline «Culturology» in English. The manual is designed to help students improve their ideological competence, develop skills for independent analysis and interpretation of the most important ideological and value systems in the context of world historical development. To organize the work of students, the manual has developed methodological recommendations for studying the content of topics, questions for reports and messages, discussion questions for group discussion, control questions, test tasks, lists of basic and additional literature, a list of recommended scientific journals, domestic and foreign electronic publications and resources. The textbook on the discipline «Culturology» is compiled in accordance with the modern Russian educational standard.
