The articles deal with the specifics of a responsible policy's implementation in respect of the employees of Russian companies and shows examples of best practices in the field of social responsibility of big business. Also the authors synthesized the main theoretical and methodological approaches to problematize the concept of human capital that hep them to substantiate principles of sustainable development of Russian enterprises. Besides, the range of problems of development of social responsibility of small and medium business at Federal and regional level is determined.
