This textbook is dedicated to the study of practical numerical simulation of heat and mass transfer problems. A brief review is given on the topics of mathematical models, numerical methods and a solution algorithm for complex problems of heat transfer, such as heat conductivity in a solid cylinder; forced and natural convection of a flow inside a pipe; and heat radiation in air of a source of light. This textbook is designed for students in a master’s program 24.04.05 and as a self-study book for courses “Computational Fluid Dynamics” and “CDF Tools”.
