The textbook examines the main objects of research in medical biophotonics, outlines the physical principles, essence and scope of application of the main methods of optical diagnostics in medicine, the methodology of conducting research using these methods and the interpretation of the results obtained. The manual contains control questions, test tasks and tasks aimed at consolidating theoretical material. The textbook is intended for students studying in the specialty 31.05.01 "Medicine", studying the discipline "Basics of medical biophotonics".
